Avenue N American Kitchen is the debut restaurant for well known Rhode Island Chef and culinary personality Nick Rabar. Conceptualized by Rumford residents Nick and Tracy Rabar in 2010, Avenue N - was created by the renown design group of Judd Brown to have a contemporary bistro feel that paid homage to the buildings industrial roots.

Boasting a lively mix of city sophistication and small town warmth, the Rabar’s chose to enhance the organic nature of the space by incorporating all of the raw elements of the original structure including, worn brick, polished concrete, exposed beams and duct work. Rounding out the decor is warehouse lighting, plush leather and reclaimed wood - giving Avenue N its signature collected look.

Set in the historically rich and beautiful Rumford Center campus the Rabar’s have created a warm neighborhood gathering spot that is the perfect blend of luxury meets loft. Offering a playful approach to progressive American cuisine, the menu features modern, local, seasonal ingredients. The interesting food is complimented by a creative cocktail list with vintage flavor that blends seamlessly with an approachable domestic wine list where each bottle was hand selected by the Rabar’s.
