Guest Service Specialist / Instructor / Entrepreneur
Tracy Rabar attended the University of Rhode Island, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Shortly after college she began perfecting her skills in
the hospitality industry consecutively managing two of Providence’s most prominent restaurants. Realizing quickly a true passion for superior service and fine dining she went on to build a career in Hospitality Management which included positions at several of New England's most well respected dining corporations, eventually becoming a Marketing Specialist and National Trainer for one of the world's largest food service providers. Culminating her career in hospitality Tracy became an instructor in the College of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University in 2010. Today she combines her skills of two plus decades with her husband Nick managing the front of house operations at their debut restaurant Avenue N American Kitchen. Growing up in a family that took great pride in food and dining, Tracy has long been attracted to the art of entertaining. As the mom of three busy son’s however she is often entertaining groups of hungry teenage boys and picky toddlers. When she is not working the dining room at Avenue N she can often be found buried under piles of dirty laundry or drowning in a sink load of dishes. Somehow she still finds time to enjoy reading, cooking and the occasional glass (or two) of wine with her husband.
